| Air Jordan Shoes XVIII (18)
Possibly one of the more underrated designs in the long line of Air Jordans, the XVIII aimed to achieve excellent performance in a one-piece upper. The XVIII’s clean look and squared toe played perfectly off of Michael’s calm demeanor at the time. Gone were the days of the flashy V and nightly poster-selling dunks, as the more fundamental and polished side of Michael’s game was on full display during his farewell tour with the Washington Wizards. As he left the court for good in the XVIII, it was the shoe’s combination of hand-stitching along the outsole, memory foam at the collar, a carbon-fiber insole and reliable Zoom Air at the midsole that made it one of the better playing Jordans as well. |
