adidas Culver Mid Vulc Brick/Black/Mahogany Available this Week
You’re probably aware that adidas has been a major player in the basketball shoe game (as recent posts indicate). What you may not know is that they’re making some moves in skate. Don’t believe me? Check out this adidas Culver Mid Vulc in Brick/Black/Mahogany, dropping into Foot Locker stores this week.
The Culver Mid combines skate performance and style elements. It features a vulcanized sole, herringbone patterned outsole, suede upper, EVA molded sockliner, and padded tongue and collar. On this colorway, black and brick suede piecing form the upper with the adidas three stripes in black leather on either side. The mahogany midsole features a black textured toe bumper. And the shoe pops with a contrasting bright orange on the inner lining, outsole, and detailing throughout the shoe.

Introducing the adidas Court Raider Mid in White/Pool/Black, Available this Month
The adidas Court Raider Mid is not a re-release of an ’80s or ’90s shoe, despite what your first impressions may be. This month the Court Raider Mid will hit Foot Locker stores, for the first time ever, in White/Pool/Black.
The Court Raider gets its retro look with inspiration from other models in adidas’ rich basketball history. The silhouette resembles the Forum and Top Ten – both popular in the early 1980s – but with a bigger tongue and collar. The perforated vamp is also like those of the Forum and Top Ten, while the midsole and outsole were taken directly from the adidas Attitude, a style that debuted in 1986.
But the Court Raider also features some unique design elements. Mesh is incorporated into the throat, upper, and sides of tongue. The three stripes on the upper are layed over piecing that surrounds the mesh paneling on the upper. And the collar has extra perforated padding and plastic eyestay units.

adidas Originals Fortitude Mid

The adidas Fortitude Mid is sorta like a boot/sneaker hybrid with some very interesting features. Take for instance the replacement of sewn on stripes for perforation, the webbed heel cap or the hand stitched accents. Available in two color ways the shoe itself is definitely focused on fashion fused with form as leather, suede and mesh give the upper a rugged feel that isn’t over the top. Via EndClothing
