Lebron VI Akron Release
Leading the way on a big weekend of releases is the Lebron VI Akron, at House of Hoops. The shoe drops ahead of the weekend releases on Friday 3/13 (everything else hits Saturday, stay tuned for specifics). This hometown tribute has an upper detailed like an urban mural with an Akron city-scape, which is set off by a very clean white toe-box. With all of the Lebron VI color-ups hitting, this one stands out as a real winner. Detailed shots after the jump, enjoy.

Sky Force Mid LE
In April, House of Hoops will have a wht/wht/mts Sky Force Mid LE . The shoe’s upper shines with patent leather, and the laces sparkle like glitter (see Rudy Gay’s childhood basketball). The translucent light blue sole also has some sparkle to it. More shots in the gallery.

Blazer High Foamposite Pine Green at House of Hoops Now
This Blazer High Foamposite which we showed you back in September is available at House of Hoops locations now. For more shots check the Gallery.
Air Yeezy Release Info
The highly anticipated release of the Kanye West/Mark Smith (Nike) designed Air Yeezy is upon us. The first colorway to release is the Zen Grey/Zen Grey Lt Charcl pictured below. This Air Yeezy, named for Kanye himself, is hitting all House of Hoops, 34th St. NYC Foot Locker, and 34th St. NYC Footaction on Saturday 4/4!!! This one screams quality and limited.

Kanye’s status as a style icon is undeniable, and he’s been extremely active in the design process self-describing the end result as “almost a shoe-like space boot.” I’m definitely seeing some similarities (very high collar, dominant strap) between the Air Yeezy and Nike Air Mag (Marty McFly’s Back to the Future II kicks).
If you haven’t already been readin up, some product highlights are:
-premium full grain leather upper
-the outsole from the Air Assault ‘87 but it glows-in-the-dark
-extra thick sockliner
-large forefoot strap
-debossed ankle collar pods
Good luck grabbin yours.
Air Yeezy Release Date: Second Color
We know everyone was psyched to hear about the 4/4 release of the first Air Yeezy (Zen Grey/Zen Grey Lt Charcl), so we wanted to go ahead and give you early notice on drop #2. Drum roll please…
The blk/blk Air Yeezy pictured below is going to hit House of Hoops, on Saturday 5/2. This is going to be colorway 2 of 3 for Nike’s Kanye signature shoe, with the final strike hitting in June. The last color will be a net/net, and we’ll let you know when the final release date is confirmed. Good luck coppin all 3.

Zoom LeBron VI Taxi-Inspired
LeBron will show some love for the city that never sleeps by rockin’ the NYC taxi-inspired Zoom LeBron VI in tomorrow nights Knicks/Cavs game. We’ve already seen the Big Apple and Yankees editions, but LeBron isn’t referred to as ‘The King’ for no reason. Here’s yet another New York-themed color-up of the LeBron VI. The upper and toebox are predominantly black; with yellow patent accents and a metallic swoosh. To top it off, the ankle and heel areas are covered in a checker pattern taken straight from an NYC taxi cab. Similar to the other NY editions of the Nike Zoom LeBron VI, these are limited but they’ll be available tomorrow at the House of Hoops in Harlem in addition to four more New York locations listed below. More shots after the jump.

Locations:
Times Square, Manhattan
34th Street, Manhattan
Fordham Road, Bronx
Kings Plaza, Brooklyn

Patta x Nike Sportswear Air Max 1 Sample

This unique pair of Air Max 1 was designed by the Amsterdam-based boutique – Patta. Unfortunately there are only three pairs in existence and never been released in the market. A very nice combination of Canvas, Mesh and Gum Sole give us a surprising look and the insole features a graphic based on Pink Floyd’s The Wall cover art. Please tell me this will drop…
